The Cambridge Assessment Network provides professional development programmes and expert training for individuals and organisations who want to develop their understanding of assessment. We work in the UK and internationally, and can offer bespoke solutions to meet different learning requirements. We also run popular seminars on the theme of educational assessment.
Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education offer a wide range of open enrolment and custom programmes. These programmes are designed for organisations, business professionals, managers, leaders, and executives from many different functions who strive for professional and personal growth. Programmes are developed to help executives and organisations from both the private and the public sectors achieve operational excellence and results.
CISL is dedicated to working with leaders from business, government and civil society, to help them to respond to the critical global challenges of the 21st century. Their Executive Programmes support individuals to make informed decisions and to lead change to achieve sustainable growth and organisational resilience. CISL's programmes have a strong, strategic focus on the changing global context, on risks and opportunities for business, and on effective approaches to developing sustainable business strategies and business processes.
CUHP is a partnership between the University of Cambridge and three NHS foundation trusts (Cambridge and Peterborough, Cambridge University Hospitals, and Papworth Hospital) which aims to improve patient care, patient outcomes, and population health through innovation and the integration of service delivery, health research, and clinical education. The partners offer a very wide range of courses, including dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, anaesthetics, neurosurgery, ultrasound, as well as more general management and leadership courses.
The Department of Veterinary Medicine offers an annual summer school, sponsored by the Wellcome Trust, which consists of a nine-week residential course aimed at veterinary students and new graduates. Entry to the course is competitive. It includes research, careers questions, veterinary problems and topics, and skills development.
The Faculty of Education is committed to the highest standards of research and teaching and is a significant contributor to the improvement of educational policy and practice in partnership with schools, colleges and other educational agencies both in the UK and internationally. They offer courses in middle leadership, teaching and learning, counselling, and mentoring.
The Institute of Continuing Education, with around 8,000 student enrolments each year, offers hundreds of courses, both open and bespoke, often in conjunction with other departments and faculties within the University. Those of relevance for professional and executive education include: education, assessment and teaching; executive coaching; law and criminology; politics and international studies; property investment; and finance.
The Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) carries out research into all aspects of modern industrial practice encompassing management, technology and policy, and it educates undergraduate and postgraduate students in these areas through both taught courses and research programmes. Research undertaken at the IfM and the Engineering Department is disseminated through executive education, short public courses and consultancy by IfM Education and Consultancy Services (IfM ECS), a company wholly owned by the University of Cambridge.
